WORK WITH US - DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION & BELONGING (DEIB) TRAINING

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training for Nonprofit Boards and Teams

Is your nonprofit struggling to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion?

  • Your board has been called out for its inability to build an environment that is welcoming to people of diverse racial backgrounds.

  • You’ve lost good people and you don’t understand why your board struggles to recruit and retain Black, Indigenous, or People of Color.

  • There’s friction on the board or staff as individuals aren’t able to listen to one another and understand different perspectives.

Our nonprofit diversity, equity and inclusion training will support your organization to:

  • Easily attract and retain members from diverse backgrounds.

  • Build a culture of trust in which board or staff members value each other’s perspectives, and can skillfully engage in difficult conversations.

DEI Consultants for Social Change Organizations

As a cross-racial team, we’ve found that different group members respond more to one or another of us. We hold each other accountable, we trust one another and we respect our lived experiences. We bring our individual strengths and perspectives to the work, and we have each other’s backs!

“Thank you Renee & Christal for your fierce guidance in our DEAI conversations. You created a space where most felt safe, empowered and ready to speak authentically about racism and its ubiquitous, destructive effects. You created a place for us white people to recognize and assume the responsibility for bringing other whites to conversation and reparative action.”

“Thank you Renee and Christal for holding the space through some difficult conversations. You have modeled how to do this work through your vulnerability and commitment.”
